What you agree to by using silai.app. Last updated July 24, 2026.
Silai, operated by Silai Arts Inc. ("Silai", "we"), is a venue: it connects customers, independent tailor shops, and Pre-Loved sellers, and provides tools such as camera-based measurement, fit scores, listings and chat. Silai is not a party to any order. We charge no commission, process no order payments, and do not act as anyone's agent, employer or guarantor.
Price, fabric, timeline, delivery or pickup, and payment method are agreed directly between buyer and seller or tailor, and performed directly between them. Silai does not mediate disputes, offer refunds, or guarantee any order, listing, or outcome. Agree terms clearly before paying anyone.
Camera-scan measurements are automated estimates. They are typically within about 2% of a tape measurement but are not guaranteed for any individual or purpose. For critical garments, confirm key measurements with a tape. Fit scores are informational comparisons, not promises that a garment will fit or suit you.
Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. Content you post (photos, listings, messages, reviews) remains yours; you grant Silai a licence to host and display it to run the service. Post only content you have the right to use, describe items truthfully, list only lawful items, and attach measurements honestly. Automated uploads are screened, and we may edit categorisation, hide, or remove content that breaks these rules or the law, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly do.
No scraping, no reselling of the measurement service, no harassment in chat, no attempts to bypass, probe or overload the platform's security or infrastructure, and no use of other users' contact details for anything beyond the transaction at hand.
The optional listing boost is Silai's only paid feature. Payment is processed by Stripe at the price shown at purchase, and the boost is applied for its stated duration; if a paid boost ever fails to apply, contact us and we will apply it or refund it. Boost fees are otherwise non-refundable, including when a listing sells or is removed during the boost period.
Silai is provided as-is, free of charge, and may change, pause, or end features at any time. To the fullest extent the law allows, Silai's total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to 100 USD. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. If a part of them is found unenforceable, the rest stands. We may update these terms; the date above changes with them, and continued use after a change means acceptance. Questions: hello@silai.app.
