For tailor shops

Every order arrives with the naap

No fittings, no phone calls reading numbers off a tape, no guessing from a size label. The customer measures themselves with their phone camera and you receive the exact numbers.

Three steps, start to finish

  1. 1. Open your shop, free. Photos of your work, your prices, your city. Takes about five minutes, and there are no listing fees and no commission, ever.
  2. 2. The customer scans themselves at home. They prop their phone up, step back and turn around twice. About two minutes, wherever they live. Silai calculates their full naap and deletes the photos the moment the numbers are ready.
  3. 3. The measurements arrive with the order. Open the order in your workroom and the complete sheet is there, in centimetres. Stitch, agree delivery or pickup with the customer directly, and keep 100% of the price.

What lands in your workroom

Every order carries the customer's measurement sheet: height, bust, underbust band, waist, hips, shoulder width, arm length, armhole, bicep, thigh, hip to ankle and more. On average each number lands within about 2% of a tape measure, and entering the bra band is required, which calibrates every girth.

The numbers are private by design: nobody browses anyone's measurements. Only the tailor stitching an order ever sees them, which is exactly why customers are willing to scan.

Distance stops mattering

A customer in Brampton can order from a masterji in Ludhiana, or the other way around. They scan where they are, you stitch where you are, and the piece travels by courier or is picked up locally. Your workroom serves any city the moment your page is up.

Common questions

Do I need any equipment?

No. The customer's phone camera does the measuring. You just need a phone or computer to see your orders and reply to messages.

What does Silai cost a tailor shop?

Nothing. No listing fees, no commission, no subscription. Price and payment stay between you and the customer; Silai never touches the money.

How accurate are scanned measurements?

On average each measurement lands within about 2% of a tape measure: a 100 cm hip usually reads between 98 and 102 cm. For a critical piece you can always message the customer and ask them to confirm a key number with a tape.

Can I stitch for customers in another city or country?

Yes. The customer scans themselves wherever they are and you receive exact numbers, so distance stops mattering. Courier the finished piece or arrange local pickup, whatever you both agree.
