Arms a little away from your sides, small steps all the way around. The camera does the measuring.
3
Your sheet is ready in about a minute: bust or chest, waist, hips, shoulders, arms, legs and more. The photos are deleted the moment it is.

Questions
Yes. The scan, the measurement sheet and the marketplace are free for customers and for tailors. Silai takes no commission and handles no payments; the website is supported by advertising.
On average each measurement lands within about 2 percent of a careful tape measurement: a hip that really measures 100 cm usually comes back between 98 and 102 cm. Fitted clothing, good light and your height and bra band size (which calibrate the scan) tighten it further.
Yes. The scan reads chest, shoulders, sleeve, waist, hips, thigh and inseam-related lengths for anyone. Men use it for kurta pajama, sherwanis, Nehru jackets, shirts and trousers; see the men's kurta pajama guide for the exact list a tailor asks for.
No. The scan runs in your phone's browser. You can try it without an account and see your own numbers once; saving them for orders takes a free account afterwards.
The scan frames are deleted the moment your measurements are calculated. Only the numbers remain, and they are shared only with a tailor or seller you choose to contact. Nobody, including other users, can browse them.
Something fitted: a t-shirt and leggings, or gym wear. Stand on a plain floor with the light in front of you, tie hair back, and keep your whole body, head to feet, inside the frame.
Of course. Every guide on Silai explains how to take each measurement with a tape, a string, or a garment that already fits, and the scanner is there for when you have no tape or nobody to hold it.
Measuring with a tape instead? Start with bust and chest, waist, hips or inseam, the saree blouse guide, the kurta size chart, browse all measurement guides, or read the journal.
No account. Nothing saved. Nobody else sees it.
